On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Titan Stone Group, the parent company of Titan Stone Life Insurance Plc. and its charitable organization partners jointly donated 170,820,000 Riels (US$42,705) to Preychum Orphanage that is currently accommodating 65 orphans aged from 2 to 15 years old. The orphanage is located in Preychum Village, Yuth Samaki Commune, Uddong District, Kompong Speu Province.
In the last 2 years, Cambodia has been suffering from the economic fallout due to the Covid-19 pandemic just like many other countries around the world. Having said that, the education sector has also been affected, so millions of children have had difficulties in receiving a proper care and education. Titan Stone Group and its partners have noticed this post-covid effect on Cambodian children’s education.
“Titan Stone Group, and 3 other charitable organizations known as Sunrise Charity Foundation, Love Charity Organization and Integrity Charity Association, have the same vision for the 65 orphans at Preychum Orphanage.
