Kampong Speur, H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over the Kirirum Paradise Fun Run 2026, a 5-kilometer recreational run held at Kirirom National Park in Kampong Speu Province. The event aimed to promote sports tourism while supporting the “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign.
The event was attended by Neak Oknha Sour Vireak, Director General of Vireak Buntham Express Co., Ltd., Mr. Hun Vath, Director General of EHM, senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, leaders of the Kampong Speu Provincial Administration, representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, content creators, KOLs, and approximately 400 participants.
On this occasion, H.E. the Minister emphasized that the Kirirum Paradise Fun Run 2026 is an important sports tourism initiative that not only promotes healthy and active lifestyles but also helps showcase Cambodia’s rich natural tourism potential—particularly the beauty of Kirirom National Park—to both domestic and international visitors.
H.E. the Minister further highlighted that organizing this event during the Green Season, while the Ministry of Tourism is implementing the “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign from May to October, is intended to stimulate domestic tourism and transform the perception of the traditional “Low Season” into the “Green Season.
